Dental Nurse - Maxillofacial Department - Maternity Cover

We are looking to recruit a Dental Nurse to help cover maternity leave for 12 months . This is an exciting opportunity to work and gain experience within our Maxillofacial outpatient department comprising of a number of specialist areas such as Orthodontics, Orthognathics, Head & Neck Cancers, ENT, Oral Medicine, Head & Neck Trauma and Minor Oral Surgery.
Main duties of the job
- Assist with clinicians in orthodontics
- Help with running Maxillofacial, ENT and Head and neck Oncology clinics
- Help with facial trauma clinics
- Assist clinicians with MOS

- To work as part of a team to provide a safe, effective, efficient care environment for patients, relatives and carers. Under supervision, be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care. An expectation to be able to demonstrate procedures and supervise unqualified staff, and work without direct supervision.
- Honour the Trusts Core Values by demonstrating appropriate behaviours and encouraging this in others.
- Apply the principals of the GDC Code at all times.
- Demonstrate commitment to quality patient care through effective team working.
