Job summary

The Project Support Officer will play a key role to contribute to the development of the trust's refreshed strategy and will support on a range of Trust-wide strategic projects and quality improvement plans. The post holder will ensure a consistent approach to strengthen the Trust's capacity for strategy development, support the mobilisation of a quality improvement approach and provide support on key work programmes.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will need to work closely and supportively with all levels of staff across the trust, in clinical, training and corporate services. In addition, the post holder will liaise with appropriate external stakeholders at all levels (including commissioners and providers) as required.

Where projects or work streams overlap with, or are required to transition into, business-as-usual activities being carried out by existing teams, the post holder will work alongside the Deputy Director of Improvement and Strategy to ensure that there is clarity in relation to roles, responsibilities and accountability.

Responsible for the management, development and production of project reporting and management, liaising with internal all trusts staff including: business intelligence and finance departments.

Arrange and support organisation of meetings, workshops, forums as required.

Provide project support to the changing agenda of trust strategic priorities, taking an intelligent and agile approach to this highly dynamic area.
