Pre-Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship

We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic individuals to join our pharmacy team to train to become qualified Pharmacy Technicians, registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Main duties of the job
You will join our structured Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship Programme and receive training in all areas of pharmacy, whilst undertaking a GPhC approved qualification to meet the Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship Standard.
One day per week will be provided for day release to college; however, you must also be committed to study in your own time to meet deadlines. On successful completion of the programme, you will be able to register with the GPhC as a qualified Pharmacy Technician.

You will needgood interpersonal and communication skills, be well organised and committed to the training programme. The ability to cope with studying whilst working as part of our team in this busy department is essential.
You must possess GCSEs at grade 4 to 9 (grade C or above), or equivalent qualifications, in English, Maths and Double Science. Certificates will be checked at interview and, for non-UK qualifications, documentary equivalence against UK qualifications will be required and checked at interview.
Please note that as this training programme is government funded and the following eligibility criteria apply. Applicants-
- Must be aged 16 or above
- Must have been resident in the UK/EU for the last 3 years
- Must not hold a Level 3 qualification or above in the subject they will complete the training in
- Must not already be in any form of formal government-funded education.
