Main duties of the job
As a Diabetes Specialist Nurse, you will provide expert, evidence-based care while effectively managing a caseload. Your responsibilities include assessing and reviewing referrals, ensuring patients are seen within recommended timeframes. You will perform comprehensive assessments, including physical examinations, symptom evaluations, test result analysis, and recommendations for further diagnostics.
You will respond to inquiries from patients and healthcare professionals, offering informed guidance. Maintaining accurate records is essential, ensuring real-time updates to patient records and timely completion of Electronic Discharge Notifications (EDNs).
