We are recruiting for a Pharmacy Undergraduate who shares our ambition and vision to deliver theBest of Care by the Best Peopleand has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.

Main duties of the job

Our pharmacy department is friendly and progressive. We look forward to welcoming summer students for eight week placements in June 2025.

Students will be exposed to a range of clinical areas, as well as working in the dispensary and getting involved with project work as opportunities arise. This will be a broad and exciting introduction to hospital pharmacy.

The post holder will support the undertaking of various projects/audits, whilst also being given the opportunity to shadow clinical pharmacists on the wards.

During this placement, you will get little taster sessions across a range of pharmacy areas including homecare services, medicines management, aseptic services and dispensary.

  • IT literacy including core Office programs

Knowledge

  • Pharmacy knowledge appropriate to students place in degree programme
