We are recruiting for a Breast Assistant Service Manager who shares our ambition and vision to deliver the Best of Care by the Best Peopleand has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.

Main duties of the job

The post holder should be highly motivated with excellent organisational skills, due to the varied and demanding aspects of the role. They should have excellent computer skills and be proficient in excel.

The post holder would be required to have a staff management background, as well as good communication skills.

To oversee the daily running and operational management of the breast unit. To work alongside and manage the breast screening office manager, based at Medway as well as working in conjunction with the programme management team and colleagues at East Kent Hospitals and Maidstone Hospital.

  • Knowledge of hospital IT systems.

Experience

  • Operational experience, prefereably with some exposure to the NHS
  • Budget management experience
