Salary: £24,071 - £25,674 per annum/pro rata
Monday to Friday 9am to 5 pm

Main duties of the job
The successful post holder will be primarily responsible for taking the lead role in planning and booking of patients Outpatient Appointments.
Asa Patient Admin Clerk you will ensure that all waiting lists are managed and appointments are booked in line with both Trust and Government policies.

To be responsible for maximum usage of all outpatient appointment slots, according to protocol, criteria and Government targets general outpatients, , processing referrals in accordance with trust policies and Sops.
To be responsible for booking of appointments for patients within clinical, trust and government waiting time targets for outpatients, where necessary moving patients between sites in order to match protocol and met targets.
To Manage and be responsible for own speciality, deal with requests from PSC Team Leader and Service Manager.
To resolve any capacity issues and highlight potential problems, which jeopardise trust policy by escalating these to PSC Team Leaders and Service Managers.
To record and provide speciality statistics to all levels of Managers sometimes at short notice.
