This is an exciting role for a dynamic and innovative communications professional with excellent design and digital communication skills.
The postholder should be someone who is passionate about design and digital communications and who can help us maximise the potential of our digital offer, as well as contributing to the day-to-day communications work within the team.
They will play an important role in supporting the Communications Team with digital content, including planning, creating and uploading content to the Trust's intranet, website and social media channels, and creating content for printed publications.
Main duties of the job
Lead on high profile design and digital communications campaigns, using appropriate channels to ensure our story is told in a compelling and effective way.
Create inspiring and innovative content for social networking and digital platforms, including graphics and video content.
Plan and produce engaging content for social media channels including Facebook, X and Instagram, and use analytics to inform improvements.
Manage the day-to-day updates of the Trust's website and intranet.
Design the Trust's public facing magazine, News@Medway, and manage its production through to delivery.
Ensure consistent use of the Trust's brand and compliance with brand guidelines and advise other staff on the Trust's house style.

The postholder will support the Communications Team to implement a strategy and plan aligned to the Trusts aims and objectives and to ensure this story is told in a compelling, engaging and effective way.

Build relationships with colleagues in partner and external stakeholder organisations
Build and manage effective relationships with a range of internal stakeholders.
Administration of the Communications Teams photo database and photo consent process.

May have incidental contact with patients, members of the public and clients, and be required to provide advice when they contact the Communications Department.
