Main duties of the job
The primary function of this role is to ensure the provision of clean linen to all departments.

Job responsibilities
Collection, sorting and categorising of soiled and clean linen in preparation for washing and finishing
Loading and unloading of washing machines and dryers, ensuring that all work processed is given the correct amount of time
Distribution of clean linen to the relevant departments, replenishing stocks as required
Ensure cleanliness of all equipment
Checking of detergents and notifying the appropriate staff member when they need ordering
To assist with cleaning duties as and when required
To undergo training as required
Ensure that safe working practises are maintained at all times and that duties are performed in accordance with Health & Safety, COSHH and other relevant statutory requirements
To read, understand and comply with all Laundry policies and procedures, applying the principles as appropriate to the role
To ensure mandatory training is completed
