Main duties of the job

To work with the Head of Workforce Systems, Workforce Systems Project Lead other members of the Team to identify, agree and scope change projects relating to the implementation of the eRostering and other Workforce Information systems.

To develop policies and procedures that supports the interface between deployment and users.

Maintain the configurations of HealthRoster and associated suites in such a way as to support bolt on applications and front-line staff with the recording of accurate and timely information.

Attend and present as required at meetings concerning eRostering and associated development of practice issues.

Ensure that appropriate change management plans are implemented and facilitate changes in working practices arising from the implementation.

Drive further developments of the eRostering functionality to meet the needs of staff.

  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent level of relevant experience
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner/SCRUM qualification

Knowledge

Essential

  • Understanding of NHS IT implementations
  • Understanding of current staffing/rostering pressures facing the NHS Knowledge of local healthcare system
  • Detailed knowledge of Lord Carter report and recommendations

Experience

Essential

  • Experience of DoH/NHS Projects Experience of implementation of HealthRoster and other workforce systems including HealthRoster and associated suites.
  • Effective Leadership skills Ability to work within multi-professional team
  • Experience managing change with the NHS
