We are offering substantive positions or secondment opportunities to join our new team on Minster Ward. We are seeking to recruit highly motivated individuals as we continue to rapidly develop and expand our frailty service. The ideal candidate will not only have an interest in improving patient care within frailty, but also be enthusiastic with a can do attitude. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a new team who will work closely with other members of the multi-disciplinary team and will provide clinical assessment and treatment of older people living with frailty.

Main duties of the job

As a Clinical Support Worker, you will ensure patients receive a high quality of clinical care and a good patient experience. We have a management team that is both innovative and proactive in ensuring that high quality care is delivered to our patients.

Care Certificate Programme to be completed over a specified 6 months period, if not obtained prior to commencement.

  • Evidence of a general education e.g. GCSE's or equivalent

Desirable

  • NVQ 2 in Healthcare / QCF Diploma in Health Level 2 or equivalent qualification

Knowledge

  • Knowledge and experience of taking clinical observations
  • Knowledge of Manual handling of patients, using lifting aids
  • Understanding the requirements of Patient Confidentiality

Desirable

  • Knowledge of hospital systems

Experience

  • Commitment to working in partnership with patients / carers

  • Care experience within the last 3 years
