Job summary

You will join an expanding service and be a part of a supportive and caring team that consists of the following- Clinical Lead, Team Coordinator, Office Manager, Admin, Psychologists and Assistant Psychologists, Highly Specialist Autism Assessors, Specialist Autism Assessors, Autism Assessors, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists and Assistant Practitioners.

This can be a high-paced role where you will need to be able to move between tasks and pick up jobs from where they left off. You will need to be able to utilise a range of IT skills, including Microsoft Teams, booking appointments and ability to use the full Microsoft range of tools (word, excel etc.).

You will be supported and directed by the team office manager, ensuring that the recurring duties for the team are equally shared.

The Autism Diagnostic Teams core hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm and the successful post holder would be office based in Sleaford.

Please note, interviews will be held on 6th November.

Main duties of the job

Main responsibilities are as followed:

Processing incoming referrals onto clinical systems

Send letters in line with MDT Meeting

Process incoming and outgoing mail

Responding to email enquires

Attend Team Meetings

Occasional note taking of meetings.

Answering and making telephone calls

Arranging appointments

Proof reading reports/letters

General admin support for the Team

To provide efficient and effective secretarial support to the Autism Diagnostic & Liaison Team MDT.

You will be expected to act on their own initiative and support the whole team with their admin needs.

You will need to be able to move between competing demands quickly and efficiently, a regularly re-prioritising their workload.

Contacts to the post holder can be made in a range of ways, including Microsoft teams, email, and phone etc, ability to coordinate responses and direct relevant information to the rest of the team.
