Job summary

A vacancy has become available within the Bank Staffing Team for a Band 3 administrator.

This is a permanent contract of 22 hours a week. The role is based at The Point Unit 9 Sleaford NG34 8GG.

This post is both office and home working with occasional weekend work (home working).

Main duties of the job

We looking for a Bank Staffing Unit Assistant to support the Bank Staffing Team.

This is a busy but extremely rewarding and vital role to the organisation, supporting operational teams in the supply and process management of temporary/Bank staffing as well as providing administration support to the wider flexible team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, target driven, highly organised individual, who can work from their own initiative, with high level communication skills, will be able to learn and pick up systems quickly and work well under pressure.

Your duties will include:

Respond to requests from Bank/Agency workers and accurately record requests for cover from departments, within the Trust.

Update internal service users regularly in regard to cover request progress or any changes to requirements.

Book bank and agency workers in line with agreed booking processes, policies and authorisation arrangements.

Support the Bank staff recruitment process, in line with Trust policies and procedures.

Manage all general enquiries, bank workers, Ward managers or the general public escalating to the Temporary Team Leader where necessary / appropriate.

Act as a key contact for new starters joining the Bank Staffing Service.

  • Qualifications in Maths and English are essential - Level 2 (or willingness to work towards).
  • NVQ level 2 Business and Administration or equivalent

Experience

  • Knowledge and experience of using. Microsoft Office suite Conversant with Microsoft Office, particularly Word/Excel/PowerPoint/electronic diary management
  • Working in an office environment and customer service
  • Experience of working within a service lead environment.

Desirable
