Job summary

Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation NHS Trust (LPFT) provides a Talking Therapies for anxiety and depression site (TTAD). An opportunity has arisen for a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist Band 7 to join the NHS Talking Therapy service based in Lincoln, Skegness and Spading (other bases may be available). The Service provides evidence-based interventions within a stepped care model, treating people with mild to moderate common mental health problems. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a major national service, which has fundamentally changed the way in which psychological treatments are provided.

Main duties of the job

All applicants will need to have gained a PG Diploma in CBT as an essential requirement, as well as a professional qualification (nurse/occupational therapist/social worker/clinical psychologist or psychological therapy).The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able to work within a team environment and be thoroughly conversant with the use of clinical systems.

The Band 7 Cognitive Behavioural Therapist will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing step 3 protocol driven CBT interventions for a range of anxiety disorders and depression. The post holder will be expected to hold a clinical caseload, and will be provided with clinical supervision.
