Job summary
We are excited to offer a permanent opportunity for a motivated Physiotherapist to join the Community Learning disability east team, covering the areas of Boston, Skegness and Louth. This post provides the opportunity for someone with post qualification experience or newly qualified, who has an interest in working with adults with learning disabilities and complex health needs.
Within this role, there will be opportunity to progress form a band 5-6, base can be negotiable for a 12 month period and a redeployment package could be offered.
Within this role you will work as part of a well-established multi-disciplinary team, offering a range of specialist health interventions to people with a learning disability within their place of normal residence, respite and day care placements.

- Physical Health Liaison
- Mental Health
- Behaviours of Concern
- Mental Health Liaison

Main duties of the job
You will support the provision of Physiotherapy for adults with Learning Disabilities across 3 core pathways: mental health, positive behaviour support and physical health pathway.
The role includes clinical assessment, care planning and appropriate clinical decision-making skills. Being a compassionate, organised, team player with excellent communication skills and effective time management skills are key, as well as being accountable for your own caseload management and being able to identify Physiotherapy interventions which you will joint work with staff within the team to deliver.
Enthusiasm and motivation are just as important as your experience for this role, as full training can be provided for a successful applicant with the relevant qualifications.
