An opportunity has arisen to work as a Clinical Lead within Maple Lodge. It is a purpose built 15 bed rehabilitation unit within the Boston area for people with enduring mental health problems and complex needs. Both informal and detained patients.
You will have the opportunity to participate and maintain high quality care within the ward environment to work alongside service users to aid in their recovery and transition back to independence.
This is a band 7 clinical leadership role, working in collaboration with the ward manager, and other team members within the multidisciplinary team. The post holder will provide professional nursing management, leadership and guidance, fostering effective relationships, expert clinical advice in relation to key dimensions of high quality health care.

Main duties of the job
To provide the overall clinical and managerial leadership of the Nursing and clinical team in the Adolescent Acute in-patient setting.
This position is both Clinical and Managerial with a team composition made up of Nursing, Allied Healthcare Professionals, Psychological therapy professionals, Administrative and Medical representation. As clinical lead you will provide the expert knowledge within areas of specialism in relation to young peoples mental health and support the clinical team to develop their roles and the provision of care within the Adolescent Acute in-patient setting.
Work jointly with the Ward Manager in managing the service including line management of staff, reporting for contract and auditing of service provision.
Be accountable for the leadership and management of the delivery of the clinical care of vulnerable children and adolescents in the in-patient unit, this includes ensuring improved physical health monitoring, care delivery and parity of esteem.
Provide leadership and work in partnership with service users, their carers' and colleagues in the adolescent acute in-patient setting.
Provide effective line management and clinical supervision joint with the Ward Manager of the clinical team within the the adolescent acute in-patient setting.
