Job summary

Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is embarking on one of the most significant digital transformation programmes in its history, including the implementation of a new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system as part of our MoorConnect programme. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Associate People & OD Partner to support this high-profile programme and help shape the future of digitally enabled eye care across our multi-site network.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the centre of organisational change, supporting new ways of working, workforce redesign, and large-scale staff engagement linked to the successful implementation of our EPR.

Main duties of the job

As the dedicated People & OD lead for the MoorConnect EPR team, you will:

  • Provide a high-quality, customer-focused HR advisory service to leaders and staff involved in the EPR programme.
  • Support workforce change activities, including job redesign, staff consultation, and new workflow development arising from the EPR implementation.
  • Lead and coordinate end-to-end recruitment activity for the EPR programme, including proactive sourcing strategies for technical and specialist roles.
  • Work closely with People & OD Partners, managers, Trade Unions and project teams to ensure effective people management, fair processes, and best practice.
  • Attend programme meetings and boards, offering expert insight on workforce risks, staffing models, retention approaches, and ER implications.
  • Support employee relations casework, policy development, organisational development initiatives, and health & wellbeing activity linked to the programme.
  • Analyse workforce data and trends to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

About us

This is an exciting time to join Moorfields as we deliver our strategic vision to transform eye care through innovation. You will play a key role in supporting the workforce elements of a Trust-wide digital change programme that will have a lasting impact on patient care and staff experience.
