Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a fellow in the Cataract Service at Moorfields City Road. The post will be suitable for an experienced clinical fellow looking to expand their skills with an exciting and varied timetable including both outpatient and surgical sessions.
This role will give the successful applicant the opportunity to gain experience in a world-renowned teaching hospital, with access to the teaching and resources of Moorfields City Road and other Divisions based on the timetable.
This venture will provide the Ophthalmology opportunity to present widely and will provide and excellent level of management experience for future career progression.
Main duties of the job
8 clinical sessions, of those 3 theatre session and 2 admin/study sessions. The clinical sessions will include cataract clinics and theatres.
Clinical sessions will be cross site and there will be a chance to attend the City Road teaching sessions when appropriate and use the facilities at the City Road site including the Institute of Ophthalmology library.
This post includes a surgical session to allow a cataract surgeon to develop their skills alongside a consultant ophthalmic surgeon.
