Main duties of the job
The Lead Provider Implementation and Development Manager post is a newly created role in Moorfield's Digital Clinical Services Division (part of the COO Directorate), with a dual reporting line into the Strategy Directorate and its NHS Business Development function.
The post holder will be a senior member of the Division's management team and responsible for
(1) The effective implementation of our Lead Provider Contract with NCL, including oversight of the relevant workstreams and development of new areas of responsibilities. They will ensure that the agreed governance structure which brings together relevant partners across the NCL system is fully implemented and effective and will work in close collaboration with the ICS to ensure that we fully comply with all contractual and reporting requirements.
(2) Identifying and progressing opportunities to further develop our lead provider model and associated services and activities, with the aim to improve joined-up system working across the end-to-end patient pathway. This will entail close collaboration with the NCL ICS team as well as wider partners across the system.
(3) Supporting the development of Moorfield's digital service offering, in particular those associated with our Single Point of Access, and contributing to the effective development of service specification and contracts in other geographies

- Establishment of a robust contract management and oversight function, to ensure that we effectively deliver all aspects of our NCL Lead Provider Contract and comply with all relevant reporting requirements.
- Overseeing the creation, updating and timely issuing of all contracting and other related documentation in line with appropriate legislation and ICB/Trust policies and standing instructions.
- Strategic oversight of the reporting of activity, performance, quality and finances in collaboration with other teams and putting in place and enacting effective plans to tackle issues that arise.
- Delivery of efficiencies and planning activities required by the team

- Strategic leadership of the wider team contributing to the lead provider and SPoA delivery, and support to cross-cutting projects across the Trust/ICB/ICS

Wider Lead Provider and Digital Services Development:
- Supporting and leading aspects of the contracting for new services, service transfers and termination/changes of services, often requiring the post-holder to work in a matrix manner across teams, organisations and functions.
