Job summary

With support from the Organisational Development Consultant, lead the Trust's health and wellbeing (H&W) agenda, through the delivery and evaluation of Thrive at Moorfields, our health and wellbeing programme. Scope, define and deliver high impact H&W interventions, using an evidence based practice approach.

Positively impact on the employee experience and contribute to the Trust being viewed as an outstanding place to work, enabling recruitment and retention, and enhancing colleagues health and wellbeing.

Manage the HR Officer - Reward, Health and Wellbeing, ensuring they have the support and development to deliver high performance.

Main duties of the job

You will lead the research, design, communication, implementation and measurement of a programme of Health and Wellbeing activity, ensuring it meets the needs of our diverse employee base and delivers a positive impact for our colleagues. You will take an evidence-based approach to recommending new initiatives, taking account of best practice, organisational context and both qualitative and quantitative data.

You will ensure that we provide a comprehensive suite of employee benefits across the Trust, building the business case for new initiatives and measuring impact.

You will collaborate with colleagues across the HR team to ensure Health and Wellbeing is embedded as a golden thread in all that we do, and act as the Subject Matter Expert for Health and Wellbeing.

Essential

  • Professional CIPD membership
  • Postgraduate diploma in HR or equivalent experience
  • Degree level education or equivalent experience

Desirable

  • Masters degree in HR or communications, or equivalent post graduate experience
  • Qualified coach / assessor

  • Experience in Health and Wellbeing in a complex organisation
  • Significant experience of devising, implementing and evaluating Health and Wellbeing interventions
  • Experience of facilitating group discussions of all types and sizes

Desirable

  • Experience of using social media within an organisational context

  • Strong, up to date knowledge of key factors in Health and Wellbeing within and outside the NHS
  • Sound understanding of issues regarding diversity
