We are seeking a highly motivated, compassionate, and innovative Registered Nurse, ODP or Technician as we have an exciting opportunity within Moorfields Private Refractive Laser Suite for a Band 6 Deputy Clinical Lead. You will be joining the organisation at a very exciting time as we progress on innovating clinical care pathways and plan for our new hospital, Oriel.
Main duties of the job
As a key member of the leadership team, you will be working closely with and deputising for the Clinical Lead, providing support and guidance to the wider clinical team. You will actively contribute to the delivery of our continuous learning and improvement journey. You will be a highly visible role model for the team providing inclusive leadership and it is essential that you have established yourself as a confident and competent clinician within an acute setting, with experience within this speciality. You will need to have confidence and experience in leading a team, or be prepared to develop your experience, and have demonstrable professional achievements.
You will work collaboratively to maintain and strengthen quality and safety within the unit through robust procedural guidelines, collaborative risk, incident, and complaints management.

- Develop individual competence and knowledge through experience and training which will enable autonomous practice and support the provision and evaluation of seamless specialist care within Moorfields, ensuring patients receive the highest standard of clinical care
- Through work based learning and development, develop specialist knowledge and skills, demonstrated through the provision of advice, education and support to staff, patients their families and carers
