Clinical Audit Facilitator

Job summary

We have an rare opportunity to join the Clinical Governance Team for Maternity and Gynaecology within the Children and Families Division. The band 4 Clinical Auditor Facilitator will have an important role in supporting the evaluation and improvement of clinical practice by healthcare professionals in the Trust. This will be achieved through the management and facilitation of a range of clinical audit and other projects for designated specialties, professions and departments. The post holder will be an integral member of the Division of Children's and Families.

This post is for 33.75 hours per week, working 'office hours' between Monday to Friday.

Main duties of the job

To co-ordinate and manage other ad-hoc Trust-wide, Regional and National projects when required, and to support the work of any staff employed on such a basisTo assist in the production and distribution of the Trust's Annual Clinical Audit and Effectiveness ReportTo undertake and facilitate a range of designated clinical audit projects including:

o Advising on audit design, including project management.o Undertaking literature searcheso Designing data collection toolso Training and education of staff where necessaryo Data collection and analysis, including spreadsheet/database designo Producing reports and other presentational materialo Presentation of findingso Documentation of agreed change
