An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced nurse to join the renal ward in the Trust.
The post holder will be primarily based on Ward 32, an 18 bedded renal in-patient ward at Doncaster Royal Infirmary, however, will be required to work within the remit of the Renal Services.
We are searching for a dynamic, highly motivated and passionate individual committed to high quality patient care within the renal setting. The post holder must have a flexible approach, and be committed to delivering high standards of patient focused care; this is an essential requirement of the post. The post holder will also be required to demonstrate professional attributes, including, diversity, dealing with change, able to work autonomously and effectively within the multidisciplinary team.
The post will provide an excellent opportunity for a nurse to display excellent interpersonal and communication skills across the Renal MDT. We are looking for someone who will develop excellent clinical and leadership skills, who can make decisions and be a role model for the nursing workforce.

Main duties of the job
Maintain the highest standard of patient care at all times. provide leadership and support to all members of the team and ensure they are conversant with the Trusts policies.
Act as a resource of specialised knowledge and clinical expertise to ensure care delivery is appropriate and evidence based. Promote an effective learning environment for the multi-disciplinary team.
Demonstrates clinical expertise by role modelling patient centred practice to others.
Assess and implement any necessary actions to ensure the efficient management of the ward as directed by the Senior sister/ Charge Nurse
Demonstrates an appreciation of information technology to enable effective and efficient use of information in line with trust developments.
