We are recruiting across a number of ward areas at all three of our sites: Doncaster Royal Infirmary, Montagu Hospital, and Bassetlaw Hospital. Preference will be discussed at interview.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for providing the highest standard of individualised holistic patient care in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old at the time of application

Main duties of the job

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant (a minimum of 12months experience)
  • Completion of the Care Certificate (or willing to complete within 3 months of starting)
  • Relevant healthcare qualification
  • Clinical skills and competencies specific to the department (if you lack these then you'll start as a Band 2 Trainee HCA, with progression to a Band 3 HCA upon completion of training).

We have full time and part time roles available, and also support flexible working where possible, however please be mindful inpatients areas are 24 hour, 7 days a week services therefore there will be a requirement for rotational shifts, day shifts, night shifts, weekend and bank holidays (enhanced pay for weekends and nights)
