Maternity Care Assistant

Job summary

We are looking for Maternity Care Assistants to work in various areas across both Doncaster and Bassetlaw sites; covering the full spectrum of 24 hours, 7 day service.

The post holder will work as part of the multidisciplinary team assisting with the care of the patient's physical and personal needs, ensuring a high standard of care is achieved, working within the agreed policy and procedures. Acknowledging individual cultural needs respecting privacy and dignity.

Main duties of the job

This unique opportunity is ideal for individuals who are keen to join the maternity teams and expand their knowledge and skills.

The midwifery team is a fast paced busy environment to work in and you will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to provide a high standard of care whilst maintaining a safe, efficient.

It is essential that you have the ability to work independently following the shift leaders designated tasks.

Good interpersonal and organisational skills are essential for this post.
