An ideal opportunity for a qualified Cardiac Physiologist to develop their experience, knowledge and skills in invasive cardiology.
Working within within the Cardio-Respiratory Department, you will be a valued member of our team providing high quality diagnostic tests across the cardiac pathways. You will be enthusiastic, professional, compassionate and competent with a willingness to contribute ideas to provide the very best patient-centred care.
Although based primarily at Doncaster Royal Infirmary, there will be a requirement to cover across our three sites. Working hours will be subject to review as the service develops, therefore a flexible approach is essential.
Main duties of the job
The post will involve working in an established team of Cardiac Physiologists providing high quality diagnostics across the cardiac pathways. You will work primarily within the invasive Cardiology team, with a requirement to rotate through general sections of the cardiology service including ambulatory ECG analysis, functional stress testing, radionuclide and Tilt-Testing.
Our department is an approved training centre for the National School of Healthcare Science and supports the training of a wide range of programmes including PTP, ETP, STP and apprentices. Continued professional and personal development is actively encouraged and the post holder will be given opportunities and supported to develop their own postgraduate skills alongside to contributing to the delivery of training within the service.
Applicants should have proven experience at Band 5. The department would actively encourage study towards IBHRE qualification.
