Pharmacy Assistant - Clinical Research

Job summary

  • To provide technical support to Pharmacy Clinical Research service and the wider ClinicalResearch Team with the aim of providing safe management of clinical researches within thehospital.
  • To participate in the training and development activities of the Division as appropriate.

Main duties of the job

  • To apply principles of GCP in the management of clinical research activities and work within the Medicines for Human Use (Clinical Trial) Regulations 2004 and EU directive relating to clinical researches.
  • To provide dispensing support to the Pharmacy Clinical Research service and to support medicines management activities of the clinical research IMPs.
  • To participate in the provision of an efficient Pharmacy Service to the Trust by developing and maintaining the necessary validations for your assigned duties.
  • To participate in the training and development activities of the Division as appropriate.
