An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Switchboard Supervisor to join the Telecoms team. Based at our Doncaster Royal Infirmary site with travel occasionally required to our other sites as necessary.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a calm positive attitude along with good organisational and high quality customer service skills. It is important that the post holder is able to multi-task and work under pressure as well as deal with any emergency situations which may arise.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will normally work Monday to Friday but in line with Switchboard being a 24/7 service, there is a requirement to be flexible in your approach and hours of attendance, including evenings, nights and occasional weekends to meet the needs of the service. On occasions there may be a requirement to undertake additional hours to meet business requirements.
There will be times when you will be required to 'operate' the switchboard, to ensure the operational needs of the service are met therefore, it would be preferable that you have previous experience of Switchboard or Call centre working. Training on the Openscape IP Telephony Switchboard and associated local systems will be provided as required.
Experience with computer packages would be advantageous.
