What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience as a Healthcare Support Worker
• Completion of the Care Certificate.
• Relevant healthcare qualification (or evidence of equivalent experience).
• If you lack certified clinical skills in Vital Signs and Blood Glucose and Ketones Monitoring, you'll start as Band 2, with progression to Band 3 upon completion of training.

Main duties of the job

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Provide essential personal care, including bathing, dressing, and assisting with meals.
• Monitor patients' conditions, including vital signs and NEWS (National Early Warning Scores).
• Collect specimens such as urine, stool, wound swabs, and COVID-19 tests.
• Support clinical procedures after appropriate training (e.g., ECG recording, cannulation, blood sampling).
• Assist nursing and medical staff during clinical procedures using aseptic techniques.
• Offer encouragement and support for lifestyle and behavior changes.
