Job summary

The Sister/Charge Nurse will, by example and facilitation, guide, assist and empower nursing staff in fulfilling their professional role using research-based practice.

Identify strengths and weaknesses of individual clinical practitioners and liaise with Senior Sister/Charge Nurse to construct an appropriate development programme.

Support the Senior Sister / Charge Nurse in the day-to-day management of the ward.

The post holder will be responsible for supporting the co-ordination of the unit, whist leading and developing a skilled workforce to deliver high quality patient centered care
