Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for qualified children's nurses to join our team working as a staff nurse within our children's services unit. We have a number of part time and full time positions available across Doncaster and Bassetlaw hospitals. We are looking for someone who is motivated, enthusiastic and possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team; providingholistic care to both child and their parents/carers.

Due to expansion of our services we currently have vacancy within our; Emergency Departments, Children's Observation Unit, Children's Ward and Children's Ambulatory Care Unit, where we provide care for children and young people from ages 0-16.

Main duties of the job

As a member of the nursing team you will deliver a high standard of nursing care based on the theory of family centred care. You will be expected to act as a role model and work with the multidisciplinary team within the division ensuring that a high standard of holistic care is maintained for all children and their families. You are expected to participate in education and will be supported by our education team with your own continued professional development.
