Are you a nurturing enthusiastic childcare professional who is ready to make a difference in in little lives? We're looking for a dedicated Nursery Nurse to join our warm and welcoming team at GOSH Staff Day Nursery. The nursery is in a quiet cul-de-sac on Long Yard, with numerous parks and outdoor provisions available for the children to visit daily.

Main duties of the job

Key responsibilities include:

  • As Nursery Nurse you will be a Key person who is responsible for building relationships with small groups of children and their families.
  • You will provide high standards of quality within the Nursery including the environment, resources and experiences offered to children.
  • Observe, support and extend children's learning
  • Plan appropriately for children using the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum for guidance.

To be considered for the role you will be:

You will need to have a minimum Childcare Level 3 qualification and experience of working in a busy nursery environment covering the age range 3 months - 5 years, together with excellent knowledge of the child development and current practices.
