Are you a nurturing enthusiastic childcare professional who is ready to make a difference in in little lives?

We're looking for a dedicated Nursery Assistant to join our warm and welcoming team at GOSH Staff Day Nursery. The nursery is in a quiet cul-de-sac on Long Yard, with numerous parks and outdoor provisions available for the children to visit daily.

Main duties of the job

Key responsibilities include:

You will be supporting the nursery team in delivering high-quality early years education, helping children develop social, emotional, and practical skills in a safe and nurturing environment.

To act as a key worker to a group of children.

Observe, support and extend children's learning.

To be considered for the role you will be:

You will need to have a minimum Childcare Level 2 qualification and experience of working in a busy nursery environment covering the age range 3 months - 5 years, together with excellent knowledge of the child development and current practices.
