We are looking for a talented and experienced ICT Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Lead to join our dynamic team.
As a member of the ICT Enterprise Applications Team, the post holder is responsible for working with ICT Business partners and key stakeholders in both clinical and non-clinical departments to identify and develop automation solutions to move away from manual processes, as well as managing and maintaining automation tools.
Main duties of the job
- Coordinate and lead in developing, implementing, managing, maintaining, and updating the automation of manual processes throughout the Trust.
- Lead the full engagement with Trust staff to ensure automation services are delivered in a timely fashion to meet the requirements of the clinical and corporate business.
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert for the RPA tools used within the Trust.
- Provide expert consultancies for all potential automation opportunities.
- Analyse automation feasibility to all workflows, including high-impact or critical areas, and advise key stakeholders on the suitability of automation.
- Provide specialist process mapping and process redesign expertise.
- Work with key stakeholders to design and develop new robotic automation processes that meet the business and clinical requirements of the Trust.
- Ensure requirements and solutions are documented and maintenance tasks are handed over to first-line support/BAU as appropriate.
- Work with the Change Manager to ensure that all new automation processes are carefully brought into production.
- Identify root causes and failures in both the automation tools and the defined processes to resolve problems and implement permanent fixes
