Come and join our multi-disciplinary team delivering highly specialist psychology services in a specialist Psychological and Mental Health team (PAMHS). We offer a busy and stimulating work setting with supportive colleagues and a wide range of learning opportunities.
The Feeding and Eating Disorders Service (FEDS) is a multi-disciplinary team within PAMHS, which provides specialist assessment and treatment for children and young people presenting with feeding difficulties and eating disorders. We typically see children aged 0 to 16 years, with feeding difficulties, eating disorders, restricted eating, some meeting the diagnosis for ARFID, food phobias and generalised anxiety presenting with difficulties eating. Interventions include CBT, parent work and systemic interventions.
Main duties of the job
Suitable applicants will have experience of working within a clinical setting, preferably with children, experience of data collation, databases and working in a multi-disciplinary setting will be an advantage. Previous experience of working as an assistant psychologist is desirable.
