Specific duties will be dependent on relevant skills and experience.

The post holder will be required to attend more clinical scanning sessions per week, at least two but usual practice is to attend more than this number especially with increasing experience. For these lists they will carry the initial, primary responsibility for planning image acquisition, assisting the radiographer with image optimisation, post-processing the images, volumetric and flow quantification, and report writing. This will be carried out under the supervision of the consultant in charge of each list. The post holder will as a part of a team of fellows be responsible for the primary cover of all the clinical scanning lists each week.

Considerate and cooperative behaviour will be required at all times.

Conscientious and safe patient care is the priority of our Unit and is required from all persons involved in MRI scanning.
