Great Ormond Street Hospital Supply Chain department are looking for a Supply Chain Officer to work in an established team delivering an efficient and effective Materials Management services to wards and theatres.

Main duties of the job
What does a great Supply Chain Officer do?
- Demonstrate a sound understanding of materials management and knowledge of general supply chain management principles from the receipting of goods, to the importance of the supply flow within a hospital environment.
- Show an understanding of technologies used for the management of supplies.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and be able to react positively under pressure in a demanding environment.
- Show effective problem solving skills to ensure that all aspects of the supply chain work for the benefit of the trust in terms of supply and financial management.
- Be flexible as this is a full time post working 37.5 hours per week on rotational shifts which can be interchangeable to cover service requirement
