With a recently appointed new senior finance leadership team, GOSH is seeking to create and shape a finance team that is fit for the future, providing the best possible support to operational and clinical colleagues who make a huge difference our patients' lives.

Main duties of the job

This is a replacement role that will be responsible for leading the entire Great Ormond Street Hospital Procurement agenda, working with Board, Executive and Senior Leadership teams to ensure that it operates within public sector policy, the NHS legal framework and the new Procurement Act 2023 to successfully achieve its objectives.This shall include the delivery of demonstrable and incremental cash releasing savings, which will form part of the cost improvement/'Better Value' plans of the Trust and clinical and corporate directorates.

Candidates should demonstrate a depth of leadership and transformation in Procurement, Purchasing, Legal, Supply Chain, Digital and Transformation environments. They will bring experience in advanced negotiation with a thorough understanding of the rules that govern EU Public Procurement.
