Job summary

An exciting career opportunity has arisen for a "Head of Finance - Research & Innovation (R&I) and International Private Patients (IP&C)" to join our Finance Team at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. The post holder will be responsible for leading and managing the financial aspects of the R&I and IPC directorates with responsibility for the direct line management of all finance staff in R&I and IPC.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for leading and managing the financial aspects of the R&I and IPC directorates with responsibility for the direct line management of all finance staff in R&I and IPC.

The responsibilities include ensuring efficient and effective business systems are in place with appropriate policies and processes; Oversight of the planning and preparation of performance information to inform the strategic direction of both directorates, which will encompass benchmarking, business planning and costing information; and leading on the generation of UK based and overseas business opportunity business cases and proposals.
