Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a physiotherapy role within the Audiology (vestibular service) team.

This post offers an exciting and unique opportunity for a highly motivated and skilled therapist specialised in Vestibular Physiotherapy; this role will also be suitable for experienced physiotherapists with an interest in developing practice within vestibular rehabilitation. The successful applicant will take a leading role in the delivery of a comprehensive physiotherapy service including assessment and treatment of young people with a range of vestibular difficulties.

The successful postholder will have excellent communication skills and need to work well within an interdisciplinary team. This post will be offered clinical supervision by the Neurology Physiotherapy Team.

Main duties of the job

Due to an expansion of the vestibular service at GOSH, we are offering an opportunity for a Physiotherapist to join the Audiology (& Physiotherapy) Team at Great Ormond Street Hospital on a permanent basis. The post will provide an excellent opportunity to develop your experience in Vestibular Physiotherapy in a unique setting. Working closely alongside the Consultant Audiovestibular Physician and Physiotherapy & Audiology teams, the postholder will help to develop a burgeoning Vestibular habilitation service.

There will be many opportunities to learn with the unique patient population found here alongside excellent CPD opportunities (Internal & External). Vestibular Physiotherapy experience is desirable. You will need appropriate UK registration. It is an exciting time to be joining the Audiology team at GOSH with the new Sight and Sound Centre in Central London that opened in 2021.

  • Extensive post graduate experience in musculoskeletal and / or pain therapy within clinical experience as a senior clinician within a specialist service
