Job summary

Service Manager- 12 month fixed term contract

Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), a leader in paediatric healthcare, invites applications for a Service Manager in the Heart and Lung directorate, on a 1-year fixed term maternity cover.

This vital role centres around strategic and operational management, ensuring excellent service delivery in line with GOSH's values and standards.

Main duties of the job

  • Operational management of the Heart and Lung directorate.
  • Ensuring patient-focused, high-quality service delivery.
  • Financial and staff management within the directorate.
  • Promoting continuous improvement and innovation in paediatric care.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Significant experience in NHS operational management.
  • Exceptional leadership qualities, with a focus on inclusivity and team development.
  • Good communication skills and possess the ability to work on their own initiative.
