Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Business Partner to join our team to work in a newly formed service, Children and Young People's Gender Service.

Although a core member of the HR Team, you will be an integral part of the management team you support. You will bring a passion for customer focused HR practice and be a highly experienced communicator, coach and influencer.

For posts based in Inner London, the above salaries will include the additional supplement of 20% of basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £5,132 per annum and a maximum payment of £7,746 per annum.For posts based in outer London the above salaries will include the additional supplement of 15% of the basic salary. Minimum payment of £4,314 and maximum £5,436.

Main duties of the job

Following the recommendations of The Cass Review Interim Report, two new nationally networked services led by specialist children's tertiary care providers are being established. The Southern Hub, based in London, is delivered by a partnership of Evelina London Children's Hospital (part of Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust), Great Ormond Street Hospital and the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.

The Northern Hub is delivered by a partnershipof Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital (part of Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust). This role is based in the Southern Hub.

You will build relationships across the NHS to challenge and support colleagues to build the best teams, support their people and plan the workforce of the future.

The successful HR Business Partner will have significant operational HR demonstrable experience, developing and implementing people plans and proven evidence of leading the people elements of key organisational transformational change programmes and including supporting the development of a newly formed service.
