Job summary
Great Ormond Street Hospital is looking for a Fire Safety and Health and Safety Advisor to join a busy team,
An opportunity is now available to strengthen the existing workforce and to promote and enhance the Fire, Health and Safety Team.
This role is focused on ensuring our patients, staff and visitors engage within a safe environment. You will also be charged with ensuring the hospital meets its statutory requirements from a fire safety and health and safety perspective. You will be required to have a good knowledge of current safety legislation and guidance.
Main duties of the job
The role will involve working closely with your colleagues in the Safety team in order to achieve a safe system of working and as such duties will include risk assessing, auditing and presenting your findings. You will also be required to communicate with a range of staff at various levels within the hospital in order that we can achieve compliance as a Trust.
