Exciting opportunity for a dynamic Band 7 physiotherapist who has a special interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, pain management and motivating young people to prioritise their own health and wellbeing. This is a new post in an inspirational service and will provide a unique opportunity for someone to develop a service whilst being supported by clinical experts in these fields.
The post will be supported with in the rheumatology /pain physiotherapy service but will also have amazing opportunities to work within the MDT across UCLH and GOSH

Main duties of the job
- To undertake clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner being professionally & legally responsible for all aspects of professional activities
- Providing a comprehensive systematic and autonomous clinical physiotherapy service for children referred to the CEW's service, in accordance with objectives agreed with clinical and professional managers.
- To maintain a Continuing Professional Development portfolio reflecting personal professional development, demonstrating expert level of clinical knowledge
- To be responsible for developing & providing teaching to peers & junior staff including medical staff; this will frequently include work observation by staff both within & outside the trust & may include large multidisciplinary groups
- To participate in the development of a high quality, responsive and accessible service including implementation of new methods of clinical delivery. This will involve interdisciplinary development and review of national guidelines, research of innovating CEW's centres, reflective practice and dissemination of the findings, both within the Trust and with other centres nationally and internationally, to promote best practice
- To actively contribute to the evaluation, monitoring and development of content, interventions, and outcomes, as appropriate, through the deployment of professional skills in research, service evaluation and audit
