Job summary

A key part of the GOSH Above and Beyond strategy is to create a new, world-leading Children's Cancer Centre - a unique resource for children with some of the most complex cancers. With wards, a cancer day care centre and critical care facility, the centre will provide holistic personalised and co-ordinated care for children with cancer. The facility will also include a theatres complex, highly specialised imaging equipment, a new hospital school and a main reception and welcome space for the whole hospital. GOSH NHS Trust and GOSH Charity are working together on this new development. It will take around three years to build and will replace the existing Frontage Building situated on the main hospital campus.The post holder will be responsible to support the provision and organisation of high-quality administrative services that enable the efficient running of the Children's Cancer Centre Project Management Office. The purpose of this post is to support the delivery of the new Cancer Centre and the service transformation required to maximise the benefits of this investment.

Main duties of the job

The role requires team working, minute taking, maintaining action and issue logs and coordinating project activities, in support of the wider Programme Management Office, Children's Cancer Centre teams and occasionally with other departments within the Trust, in support of the CCC Programme objectives.This post is an essential part of the Children's Cancer Centre Team, who work closely with all clinical and corporate teams within the Trust.
