It's quite a responsibility, with lots of information to take care of. You will have a key role in the Employee Services Team ensuring the successful delivery of our frontline HR Service desk.
Main duties of the job
You will champion the GOSH Always Values as you help provide excellent customer service to all staff. You'll be responsible for processing HR transactions e.g. staff changes, compliance, creating letters, responding to queries and data entry. You will have an excellent telephone manner and strong rapport building skills and thrive in working in a high volume, fast-paced environment. You will have the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and a proactive approach to your work. A good working knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel is essential. Experience of using TRAC and ESR would be an advantage.
This is an exciting time to join our HR team at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). We have developed our People strategy which describes a vision that everybody irrespective of their role, feels valued, heard, supported, safe and connected. The Employee Services Team will provide transactional and advisory HR support to all employees across the Trust. The team will support all the stages of employment including on boarding, all employment changes and payroll and manage all compliance monitoring.
