We are currently inviting applicants to apply for a permanent Cardiac MRI Radiographer post based in the Cross-Sectional Cardiovascular Imaging Service at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust.

You will be expected to support the service and its staff in maintaining the highest standards of imaging and care for our patients, whilst working safely and efficiently to keep the clinical lists running on time. Main duties of the job
This is an exciting and unique opportunity for an MRI Radiographer with a special interest in cardiac imaging to specialise in all facets of paediatric and adult cardiac MRI imaging
Main duties and responsibilities
To work as a specialist radiographer in a dedicated, cardiac MRI team within a paediatric tertiary referral centre, providing an expert, world class service in cardiac MRI imaging for paediatric and adult patients.
Clinical Duties
- To carry out all aspects of Cardiac MR Duties within the Cardiac MRI unit to a high professional standard on paediatric and adult patients.
- Undertake highly specialised Cardiac MR imaging techniques that require the operation of advanced acquisition and processing software with excellent hand-eye co-ordination.
- To have a sound knowledge of normal and abnormal cardiac anatomy as it applies to congenital heart disease.
