Job summary
We are looking to recruit a full time Clinical / Practitioner Psychologist or a more recently qualified psychologist seeking a preceptorship role to join the in-patient service for adults of working age in Kettering, Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT). This service offers psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for people between the ages of 18-65 years with difficulties including Complex Emotional Needs and Psychosis.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work alongside a Consultant Clinical Psychologist & a wider psychology team as part of an enthusiastic multidisciplinary team to:
- Offer assessment, formulation and intervention for a wide range of presentations using both individual and group approaches
- Support the development of the Structured Clinical Management (SCM) pathway for adults living with personality disorder
- Offer Case Formulation and training sessions for staff teams to extend psychological ways of working, including reflective practice.
- Offer enhanced assessment for more complex presentations
- Collaborate in using outcome information to inform and develop good practice.
