Job summary

Are you passionate about Co-production and value lived experience in shaping services? An exciting opportunity has arisen within the East Midlands Provider Collaboratives (EMPC) for Specialist Mental Health Services for Children and Young People, Perinatal and Adult Eating Disorders.

Working across the East Midlands in partnership in partnership with six NHS Trusts, you will lead the development of the EMPC Co-production strategy that drives inclusive and meaningful partnership with stakeholders, patients and their families.

The post holder will draw on their own experience of using services to engage with service users to gain an understanding of their experiences to shape and influence care across mental health services

Main duties of the job

o Lead in the development and implementation of partnership working with people with lived experience, parents/carers and stakeholder to deliver the broad involvement and co-production agenda aligned with Trust and System priorities.o Implementing creative and innovative approaches to encourage engagement from diverse groupso Creating systems and processes that support safe, effective and meaningful service user and carer involvemento Provide strong and effective leadership for involvement and co production

  • Lived experience of accessing and /or caring for someone within Mental Health Services and used the lived experience to promote positive change and co-production within health
  • Knowledge of person-centred care, co-production principles and participation approaches, and how these apply across health and social care services.
  • Experience in working in leadership roles, ideally across organisational boundaries or provider collaboratives

Desirable

  • A sound knowledge of CAMHS, Perinatal and Adult Eating Disorders Pathways
  • Experience of providing coaching or mentoring to colleagues
