Non-Clinical Operational Manager

Job summary

The post holder will support the Head of Healthcare Male estate and ISMS.

In addition, the post holder will operational manager the following services Recovery and reconnect services at HMP Peterborough providing advice and support to existing services and ensure that they are strengthened and modernised in line with NHS Standards for Better Health Care.

The post holder will support the development of effective organisational, clinical strategies and leadership arrangements across the ISMS, Recovery health care workforce.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that recovery, and the reconnect staff continue to deliver high quality care through appropriate and effective recruitment, appraisal, performance, and professional development procedures.

The post holder will understand and adopt the principles of trauma informed care, advocating for safety, choice, trust and transparency, empowerment and collaboration for patients, colleagues, and them self.

The post holder will ensure that the key national and local health strategies are adhered to within HMP Peterborough.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for supporting the Recovery and Reconnect services to ensure they are delivered according to the commissioning requirements. They will also provide operational support to the Head of Healthcare Male estate and ISMS.

The post holder will have a sound knowledge base of clinical governance principles.

The Post holder will participate in the tendering for new business opportunities

Represent NHFT in meeting relevant to expertise

Preparation of accurate financial information in liaison with the Finance Department .

To work in collaboration, to ensure staffing levels and skill mix fully and effectively meet the needs of the service, within financial constraints.

To support NHFT delivered services to enable the patient has a seamless care pathway.

To make sure all complaints are investigated thoroughly in liaison with the patient /carers and embed learning within the service

We are looking for a Non Operational Manager Band 7 to join our Team at HMP Peterborough . NHFT is an integrated primary care and mental health Trust, providing physical, mental health and specialty services in both hospital settings and out in the community. Because we put the person at the centre of all we do, we focus on delivering care that is as easy to access as possible. This means many of our services can be provided at home, work or in schools. We also provide health services to various prisons and detention centres in Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
